Get to Know Us

Jagadguru Sri Ādi Shankara Bhagavadpādācharya established four āmnāya peetams in India at Sringeri (south), Puri (east), Dwāraka (west) and Badri (north). The Guru Paramparā of Dakshināmnāya Sringeri Sri Shāradā Peetam has ever since been dedicated and committed towards preserving Sanātana Dharmā by expounding Shankara Tattva, the works of Sri Ādi Shankarācharyā. Inspired and empowered by their dedication, and with the blessings of the Jagadgurus (insert Acharyal's names?) and Jaganmātā Sri Shāradāmbā, the presiding deity at Sringeri kshetrā, Sri Shāradā Community Center exists to spread peace, happiness and contentment to one and all.

Our mission is to uphold Sanātana Dharmā by:

  • Ensuring members of the community have access to learning Shankara Tattva, which includes numerous stotrams and scriptural texts composed by Sri Ādi Shankarācharyā and the Ācharyās of Sringeri Sri Shāradā Peetham.
  • Inspiring the community to take active interest in learning and chanting stotrās and vedās.
  • Conducting pārāyanās of Veda mantrās, Upanishads, Purānās and Ithihāsās.
  • Nurturing and encouraging the quest for peace, happiness and contentment.
  • oṃ sarve bhavantu sukhinaḥ

    sarve bhadrāṇi paśyantu

  • May all be happy, May all be free from illnesses, May all see goodness and auspiciousness, May no one experience sorrow.
